Pupils perform 'The Tempest' at the REP Theatre

After weeks of rehearsals, pupils took to the stage to perform 'The Tempest' at the REP Theatre in Birmingham in front of a packed audience. Working on the Signing Shakespeare project with the talented Dr Abigail Rokison-Woodall (University of Birmingham) and the equally wonderful Tracy Irish (Royal Shakespeare Company), pupils created a fantastic portrayal of 'The Tempest' in British Sign Language.  Our students were incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to perform alongside a fantastic professional Deaf actor, Mia Ward. We have some very talented young actors at Braidwood School and we could not be more proud of their achievements.

Well done and many thanks to Abigail and Tracy for all their hard work.
