Visiting the University of Birmingham Geology Museum
A group of budding scientists enjoyed an end of year visit to the University of Birmingham Geology Museum. The learners looked around the museum and learnt about different rocks, fossils and crystals. There was a range of interesting information about the formation of layers of rock in the earth and information about different rocks that are found in various places in the world. There were lots of different types of rocks and fascinating fossils of dinosaurs, ammonites and more. The weather was brilliant and pupils enjoyed using the bus to get to the museum.
