School Improvement Plan Priorities 2023-2024

 

PRIORITY 1

Developing a Culture of Questioning: developing curiosity and questioning skills through a programme of CPD for staff, explicit teaching and focus weeks for learners.

PRIORITY 2

Skillsbuilder / Careers Development: to sustain and further develop our delivery of outstanding CEIAG provision through the introduction of Careers Intervention every Friday morning

PRIORITY 3

British Sign language: Improve signing skills and communication for families and maintaining the quality of BSL delivery in school

PRIORITY 4

Staff Sharing and Support Initiative: providing opportunities for staff to share ideas and support one another in order to further the development of a community that actively makes space to hold professional dialogues

PRIORITY 5

Building Resilient Young People: Learners will receive education and support to develop their metacognitive skills, through providing information and structured challenges,  to help them to develop their awareness of their own feelings and reactions and how to improve their self control in order to be able to deal with stress and adversity.
